The Nimble Knot
CUSTOM CROCHET GOODIES
HANDMADE WITH LOVE IN LAWRENCE, KS
Here are some examples of projects I have completed.
Another wreath inspired by Lucy at Attic24. Funny timing, she published the photo tutorial/pattern for her bower bird about a week after I hemmed and hawed and fussed and worked out a copy cat pattern of my own.
Many thanks are due to Lucy at Attic24 for inspiration to create something colorful and fun! I studied pictures of her birdies and wreaths to come up with something of my own. This one is a gift for my grandma.
This was a bit of a scrap buster project. I went through all my odds and ends of yarn to find colors that I thought might work for the base of this wreath. I wrote a few new patterns for this one. Very pleased with how it turned out!
Here is a skull blanket/throw that I made for some friends. I designed the "fill-in" triangles and the edging, but the pattern for the skull diamond/square can be found at the link.

This is made of cotton yarn. If you've never heard of a Chemex Coffee Pot you should check out their website. My dad is a die hard coffee fan and swears by this brewing method.

In the background here you can see my son's baby blanket. It's about the size of a crib blanket. He also has a smaller "security blanket" that matches.
I made this blanket as a birthday present for my mom. Six colors, sixty squares, and no two squares are alike.

I made this large "two person" throw as a wedding gift for some family friends.

I made this blanket and the lady bug as a gift for my cousin's daughter's first birthday. Every thing is free handed by myself except for the squares between the lady bug squares. I have included a link to the pattern for those squares.
I made these little squares while playing around with yarn colors. My son played with them occasionally for about a year until I finally got around to putting them together into a pillow.
I would love to put this on a black blanket with stars and planets.
